Review: Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-in Spray

Do you blow dry/straighten your hair?

Then, you need some kind of heat protectant to defend your locks against damage!

"This heat protection spray stands up to flat irons and curling irons by guarding against heat and friction, leaving hair shiny and enviably soft."

Visual: It's just a simple black and red plastic bottle with a spray on top. But, what's cool about this spray is the lock/unlock button. I bet it would be handy during travel (so it doesn't spray substance all over your luggage). It's also handy when you have curious children tampering with your stuff!

Size: 8 fl. oz.

It says it protects up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit! That's pretty cool! Google says the temperature of an average hair dryer is only 140 degrees.

Scent: None

Okay! So aside from protecting hair, this product claims to leave hair soft and shiny.

What's the effect on me?

I used this on wet hair, sprayed "liberally" on my head - that's about 10 sprays. I have hair that ends on armpit length (that sounds gross). After spraying, I just grab my dryer and blow my hair with no special technique whatsoever.

The results?

Yes, my hair was smooth (I'm not so sure about shiny though), but what's a big plus is that I noticed that there was less hair fall. Maybe it's also because I used to NOT use any heat protectant that there was an unusually high amount of hair falling (haha). But it does seem to do the job. I'm not sure about HOW WELL it does the job since this is only my second bottle of heat protectant spray (I didn't notice anything special about the first I ever tried).

So it's definitely a product that works for a cheap price.

Will I repurchase?

Ehh... I don't know. Maybe I'll try some other brand and see how it goes.

Price: Around $6

What about you? What's the best heat spray you've ever tried?
