Review: The Face Shop E'thym O2 Water Moisture Lotion

Got dry skin? Use moisturizer!
But woah, careful there! You don't wanna use those stuff that make your skin look OILY!

Solution? Use a water-based moisturizer!
It won't make your face look oily, and it moisturizes well too! Details below the jump!

I used to use (haha) the Celeteque one before, but it's not moisturizing enough for my face, so I was on the look out for a more hydrating moisturizer! So happy I found The Face Shop's E'thym Lotion! The packaging is all plastic, the design average. The consistency of the product was on the runny side, but for me it's just right (it's a water based lotion after all)

WHY I LIKE!

  • It hydrates really well.
  • The bottle is HUGE (140 ml)! I think I've been using my bottle for 6 months now and still haven't ran out yet.
  • PLUS it's very friendly for people who have sensitive skin. It's 5 free, mineral oil-free, paraban-free, benzophenone-free, artificial colorant-free and animal origin ingredient-free!
  • Affordable! I forgot how much I bought it for, I think around Php 800?

WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED?

  • When you unscrew the cap, it's just a big hole and it's quite difficult to get just the right amount of product. In quite a few cases I've dispensed more than I need, haha :) So what I do is, I transfer some of the product onto a jar (you know the jars from the derma?) and voila!

Just apply the lotion all over your face 2x a day (after bathing), wait for about 5 minutes so your skin can absorb it, then you can do your makeup or apply powder!
DON'T put powder on while it's not fully dried yet, you'll end up with an icky cakey face!

Xoxo!
