So here are some GREAT makeup items that are INEXPENSIVE!! Such great deals! I've decided to blog about them per category (Eyes, Lips, Face) so it's not one looooong post =) Enjoy!!


NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder

Having great brows instantly makes your face look polished and neat. Use a brow powder to control the amount of product (for a natural, or heavy look) 

I especially like this kit because it already has a spooly and an angled brush. The wax is also great because it makes the eyebrow hair stay in place =) This comes in 6 different shades.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (eyeshadow base)

This will make your eyeshadow last longer, and the NYX JEP brings out the color of your shadow too! It does crease though, so for people with oily lids (like me) I don't really recommend it.

ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer

I personally haven't tried this out yet (ELF is not accessible in Davao - a stall in SM just opened this year, but the range of products is very little. It's sad.) but heard great great reviews about it. So if you're still starting out, I think this is a good product to invest in.

It's an eyeshadow primer so it would make your shadows last longer too like JEP and supposedly intensifies color so it shows up better. Though if you want something that would make your shadow show up more, JEP is better.

Maybelline Volume Express Cat Eyes Mascara

I love this mascara! My eyelashes are uhmm... FEW and SHORT, and it's pretty tough to curl. But this mascara holds the curl REALLY well, and the wand is great too! I have small eyes, so normally the wands of the mascara are too big, and it's difficult to apply for fear of poking my eyes out. Haha! The downside of this is that it kinda makes your lashes crunchy... So.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

This is my current favorite mascara =) It really does volumize my lashes, and it looks natural too! It doesn't look like I'm wearing mascara but my eyes look 100x better. Holds the curl well, and it's waterproof.

Loreal HIP Color Chrome Eyeliner

I believe this picture speaks for itself. It's AMAZING! The colors are vibrant, the product is creamy, so it doesn't drag on your eyes and well, it's amazing! The only downside is, I don't believe this is waterproof so it might wear out after a few hours. I have this in Blue Spark, it's been a long time since I've used it too (I prefer black liner)

Maybelline Eyestudio Vivid & Smooth Liner

This is Maybelline's version of the Loreal HIP ones. However, I prefer the Loreal ones - though if you can't get your hands on that, you can try this instead =) It still is vibrant and creamy.

Doll Face Cosmetics 88 Palette

This palette is great especially for makeup newbies! It's got a lot of colors, so it has everything you'd need - you can mix the colors too to get the shade you want. If you have this palette, you probably don't NEED to buy any more (but of course we still buy makeup!) PLUS the shadows are pigmented, though I did find a couple which were pretty horrible, maybe about 2 or 3, but hey! For the price, this palette rocks :)
