This moisturizer is AMAZING! So much so that this is my second bottle.
What do I love about it? Read more after the jump!
Skinfood is a brand I've been dreaming about since I was in school. It's not that pricey, like less than $20 per anything (so I guess that's a mid price range?) but you know, when you're a student, everything is expensive. LOL.
Skinfood is a brand with awesome packaging and with natural-ish products. They combine fruits/veggies in their skincare and makeup. So enough blabbing about the brand and onto the emulsion!
I have dry, sensitive skin. I tried other products (I'm talking to you, Pond's dry skin cream & Babyganics moisturizer) but they made my face itch and sting.
My first encounter with this emulsion was some time ago, I bought the Skinfood Honey Orange Mask and was sent a sample of this Black Pomegranate Emulsion. It smelled DIVINE - fruity and luxurious. I put it on my face (no reactions, whew!) and went to sleep. When I woke up, ohmygosh, my face felt REJUVENATED. It was so soft, so smooth. So I was like, I got to have this! So I hurriedly used up my current moisturizer and ordered one online! Weee =)
When my bottle arrived, I was so giddy! Who doesn't love getting goodies in the mail? As always, Skinfood does great on the packaging. It comes in a red gradient glass jar - with a pump too! (Raves about pumps for a minute) Each jar comes with 150ml of product.
This moisturizer makes me feel like a little princess when I use it! It doesn't cause breakouts or any allergic reactions at all. It smells amazing (I said that already). And your face feels awesome afterwards! It is lightweight but moisturizes really well.
It does leave a light sheen on the face though, which is not a problem if you put powder or liquid foundation afterwards. But if you don't wear makeup and the weather is warm (hello, summer!) or you have oily skin, then I'd stay away from this moisturizer.
This product is highly recommended!
