Review: The Body Shop Nutriganics Drop of Youth Serum

"Why is the pictures bigger now, Granny?"
"For you to see them better dear!"

Okay, that is a poor adaptation of The Little Red Riding Hood but give me some credit =)

Read on for the review!

"Our certified organic range has been created for the first signs of ageing. This innovative concentrate helps to enhance surface skin condition, leaving it looking smoother, fresher and healthier. Fine lines appear smoother in just four weeks."

Helps enhance surface skin condition
Smoothes
Instantly moisturizing
99% of ingredients are of natural origin

Where did the 1% go? Anyway!

Visual: It comes in a small glass bottle, looking very sleek and eco-friendly in green packaging. BUT what most amused me with this product is... the dropper! It isn't your usual squeezee rubber thing, but it's like a modern push button. Ha!

Each bottle comes with 1.0 fl. oz or 1.7 fl. oz.

Smell: Hmm... It doesn't smell of anything. Which is good enough for me. Heavily scented stuff tend to irritate my skin.

Feel: It is liquidy, which is how all serums are I guess? But it's NOT sticky at all and once you put it on your face, you only have to wait about 5 seconds and it is all absorbed. Fantastic!

Effect: After I cleanse my face at night, I put 2-3 drops of this and smooth it on my face. Then I put my moisturizer or night cream. Actually, I could have posted this review after the first use because there were instant results, but I wanted to wait a week to see how it fares.

After first use: My skin became supple, like a baby's! I got so excited about this product. I mean, I read all the rave reviews but still, it's different when you try it out for yourself, no?

As you can see, there are some bumps and dark spots on that area (and there's some chipmunk action going on because of all the goodies - cakes, ice cream, and chocolate that seem to find their way into my mouth).

After just 10 days, the red/dark spots were gone. My face looks brighter and smoother =) It feels more supple too!

Will I buy this again? Yes!

Price is $36 which is on the above average price range, but considering you're only going to use 2-3 drops every night, this would probably last 6 months to a whole year. Plus it's just a brilliant product! (I can totally imagine that sentence in British accent, lol) So it is great and awesome, and a steal because The Body Shop almost always has discounts and promos anyway. So give this one a try!

From now on, I'll put in the list of ingredients (for you girls who have the patience to read through and dissect them):
